In my search for change, the Paradise Hunter contest was THE turning point for me. When it ended, I felt different, empowered to keep working to move forward. Having this blog helped me get through the tough days (which was everyday by this point in my career) because I had something else to focus on. I wasn’t defined by being a dentist. With this new project of mine, I found a new diversion obsession. I spent my time brainstorming skit ideas, practicing my spiel (that I wish I was clever enough to have written, but was actually written by a very talented friend of a friend,) and being entertained by the other wannabe travel show hosts. Five days ago I published a blog post that turned out to be, well, quite a surprise. I thought my 50 friends, family, and new blogging friends who followed me would see it, get a little chuckle, maybe comment and click the like button, and I would be on to the next post. Just this morning I turned on my ipad hoping to read a few blogs I follow and check a few things on my blog. It was the first time I’ve tried to use the iPad for this. I noticed I couldn’t check my site stats or respond to comments. I couldn’t even log in. I eventually scrolled to the bottom of the page and found the link that says “View Standard Site.” Phew… back to my site as I know it. So about an hour later, I was visiting Kana’s Notebook, and found this post. It is worth a read...
